Los Angeles, May 2025 – The Honest Company has announced the appointment of Dave Loretta as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. He succeeds Kelly Kennedy, who departs after more than two years of impactful leadership, including steering the company through its IPO.
Loretta brings over 25 years of financial leadership experience across prominent consumer brands. Most recently, he served as SVP and CFO at Duluth Trading Company, where he was instrumental in scaling the company’s revenue from $400 million to $700 million. He has also held senior financial roles at Nordstrom and Restoration Hardware, adding deep expertise in retail operations and consumer markets.
In his role at Honest, Loretta will report directly to CEO Carla Vernón and oversee the company’s finance, accounting, and investor relations functions. He will also play a critical role in executing Honest’s Transformation Initiative, aimed at enhancing brand strength, improving margins, and optimizing operations.
