INDA, the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, has announced the finalists for the 2025 World of Wipes Innovation Award®, spotlighting breakthrough advancements in sustainable wipe technologies. The three shortlisted products—Seasoning Wipes™ by Cookware Care, DUDE Odor Destroyer XL Flushable Wipes, and Sontara EC® Green Cotton by Magnera—have been recognized for their innovative approaches to materials, functionality, and eco-responsibility.
These finalists will present their innovations at the World of Wipes® (WOW) International Conference, held from July 21–24, 2025, at the Hilton Columbus Downtown, Ohio. The winner will be announced during the event’s closing session on July 24.
The award honors pioneering nonwoven products that drive progress in wipe design, functionality, and environmental performance. The 2025 contenders each address different market segments:
- Seasoning Wipes™: A first-of-its-kind nonwoven solution for cast iron and carbon steel cookware maintenance, using 100% viscose infused with natural oils and beeswax—without water or synthetics.
- DUDE Odor Destroyer XL Wipes: Plant-based flushable wipes that neutralize body and fecal odor at the molecular level for up to 24 hours, redefining personal hygiene.
- Sontara EC® Green Cotton: Industrial cleaning wipes made from biodegradable TruCotton™ and wood pulp, delivering high absorbency and low lint with a natural look and feel.
Finalists were selected by INDA’s Technical Advisory Board for their creativity, technical merit, and potential to reshape the nonwoven wipes industry.
Last year’s award went to Rockline Industries for a facial care wipe featuring glycine amino acid technology.
