India ITME Technical Awards 2025 Celebrate Textile Excellence

The India International Textile Machinery Exhibitions Society (India ITME Society) successfully hosted the 3rd edition of the ITME Technical Awards 2025 in Mumbai. The high-profile event celebrated excellence in textile engineering, innovation, sustainability, and advanced manufacturing.

Led by Mr. Ketan Sanghvi, Chairman and Member of the Steering Committee, India ITME Society, the gathering brought together senior industry leaders, policymakers, academicians, and technologists. The presence of Ms. Roop Rashi Mahapatra, IA & AS, Chief Executive Officer, Khadi & Village Industries Commission, Government of India, highlighted the national focus on technology-driven textile growth.

Mr. Neeraj Jain, Joint Managing Director, Vardhman Textiles, highlighted the need for deeper technical insights amid rapid changes in cotton sourcing, fabric innovation, and global demand.

Mr. Edward Menezes, Executive Chairman, Rossari Biotech Limited, shared his vision of building a design-led marketplace rooted in consistency and belief. He noted that while industry platforms provide support, long-term success depends on clarity of vision and execution.

Ms. Swati Pandey, VCMD, Maharashtra Airport Development Company, said that innovation and mindset shifts matter more than technology alone. She described AI as the third partner that enables faster and smarter decision-making across industries.
