18th Renewable Energy India Expo and 3rd Battery Show India to Drive the Next Decade of Sustainable Growth
Informa Markets in India, the nation’s leading B2B exhibition organizer, announces the 18th edition of Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo, Asia’s largest clean energy event. It will be held from October 30 to November 1, 2025, at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, alongside the 3rd edition of The Battery Show India (TBSI).
Together, the two events will drive India’s vision for a greener tomorrow. The 2025 edition builds on the success of last year’s expo, which celebrated two decades of industry collaboration. This year’s edition aims to set new benchmarks in innovation, partnerships, and sustainability.
An Integrated Energy Ecosystem
The co-location of REI and TBSI creates a complete clean energy ecosystem. It connects renewable power generation with advanced battery storage and energy management solutions. Consequently, it brings together the entire energy value chain—from solar, wind, and bioenergy to storage, EVs, and smart mobility.
This unified platform supports the theme “Decoding Pathways to Achieve Net Zero”. It will attract 700+ exhibitors, 1,000 brands, and 35,000+ visitors, along with global policymakers and innovators.
A Global Platform for Innovation
REI 2025 will host participants from across the world, showcasing technologies in solar manufacturing, inverters, biomass, wind, and EV charging infrastructure. Additionally, TBSI 2025 will feature 350+ exhibitors and 400+ brands, supported by the Department of Science & Technology and the Ministry of Heavy Industries.
The Government of Odisha joins as a State Partner, reaffirming India’s commitment to advancing clean energy. Moreover, country pavilions from Germany, Belgium, China, Japan, and Korea will foster cross-border collaboration.
A Start-up Pavilion and Investor Zone will also promote innovation and investment in new energy solutions. In parallel, a Bio-Energy Pavilion, supported by MNRE, will feature 65 global companies, expanding the event’s technological reach.
Industry Leaders and Global Participation
Leading Indian and global companies will exhibit their latest innovations. Key participants include Reliance, Adani Solar, Vikram India, Havells, Waaree, Goldi Solar, INOX Solar, and Luminous Power.
Similarly, TBSI will host technology leaders such as Semco, Thermofisher, BASF, TVS Indeon, and Nash Energy.
Voices of Leadership
Mr. Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, Informa Markets in India, said,
“Renewable Energy India 2025 reflects India’s rapid transition toward sustainability. With over 242 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity, India now generates more than half of its power from clean sources. The concurrent Battery Show India strengthens this vision by advancing discussions on storage and mobility—two vital pillars of the renewable energy ecosystem.”
Powering Ideas, Partnerships, and Progress
The event will feature knowledge-driven forums such as the Energy Storage Summit India (ESS India) and the Battery Tech Conference. These will include 26 sessions with expert panels, keynotes, and policy dialogues.
Discussions will focus on BESS financing, investment models, supplier localization, and India’s role in the global supply chain. Furthermore, sessions on advanced manufacturing, circular economy, and talent development will highlight pathways for scaling up India’s clean energy infrastructure.
India’s Clean Energy and Mobility Momentum
India’s renewable energy capacity has grown from 76 GW in 2014 to over 226 GW in 2025—a remarkable transformation. Consequently, the country is positioned as a global clean energy leader.
With investments exceeding US$ 360 billion by 2030, India’s focus on storage, grid development, and domestic manufacturing is shaping the next decade of green growth.
The Battery Show India further strengthens this transition. The Indian EV battery market is projected to grow from USD 16.77 billion in 2023 to USD 27.70 billion by 2028. Meanwhile, the Battery Management System (BMS) market is expected to reach USD 1.2 billion by 2033, growing at 17.9% CAGR.
Festivity of Business – Celebrating India’s Growth
The REI-TBSI 2025 Expo also aligns with Informa Markets in India’s “Festivity of Business” campaign. This 100-day celebration includes 28 industry events, 16 expos, 5 conferences, and 7 award shows. It underscores India’s economic rise and collaborative spirit, connecting over 1.4 billion people and empowering the nation’s trillion-dollar opportunities.
