The global textile sector is gearing up for Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Spring Edition, one of the industry’s largest sourcing platforms, taking place from 11–13 March at the National Exhibition and Convention Center. The event will feature more than 3,000 exhibitors from 25 countries and regions across seven exhibition halls.
A defining feature of the fair is its International Hall, where diversity across fibres, fabrics, and finished solutions will be prominently showcased. Popular zones including SalonEurope, Premium Wool Zone, and Verve for Design are expected to attract strong buyer interest, alongside group pavilions hosted by Ecocert, KTC, and Lenzing. Country and regional pavilions from Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Türkiye will further highlight the fair’s global sourcing strength.
Exhibition categories span suiting, shirting, womenswear, casualwear, and functional textiles. Overseas exhibitors will be located in the International Hall (5.1), Accessories Vision (1.2), and Beyond Denim (7.2). According to Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the event serves as a comprehensive sourcing destination for buyers of all scales—from large yarn spinners seeking recycled materials to boutique designers requiring smaller minimum order quantities.
Global Pavilions Spotlight Innovation
The Lenzing Pavilion will feature 23 downstream partners demonstrating how regenerated cellulose fibres can be transformed into diverse yarns, fabrics, and garments. At the show, Lenzing will unveil a new campaign promoting its TENCEL™ brand and introduce TENCEL™ Lyocell – HV100 fibre to the Chinese market, offering a cotton-inspired texture for varied applications.
The Ecocert Pavilion will highlight certified sustainable textiles, including knitted fabrics and cashmere, while the Korea Textile Center’s KTC Pavilion will present cotton, polyester, and design innovations from Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province.
The Türkiye Pavilion, organised by İTHİB, will make its Spring Edition debut with a blend of woven fabrics, silk, jacquard, lace, embroidery, and denim. Meanwhile, the India Pavilion, arranged by TEXPROCIL, returns to showcase cotton-based innovations. Other participating organisers include HKTDC, JFW, KFTA, and TTF.
Among notable exhibitors, the Italy Pavilion will feature Vitale Barberis Canonico, globally recognised for fine wool fabrics. Buyers can also explore eco-fashion textiles from Marsala Tekstil in the Türkiye Pavilion and stretch and cotton blends from Vinod Denim in the India Pavilion.
