Italian Textile Tech Heads to Techtextil 2025

Milan, April 2025 – A strong delegation of Italian textile machinery manufacturers will participate in Techtextil North America 2025, taking place in Atlanta, Georgia, from May 6–8. The Italian Trade Agency, in collaboration with ACIMIT (Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers), has organized a dedicated Italian Pavilion featuring 21 leading Italian companies presenting their latest technologies and innovations.

Participating ACIMIT member companies include:
4M Plants, Bianco, Bonino, Color Service, Fadis, Flainox, IMA, Marzoli, Monti Antonio, Monti-Mac, OMR, Ramatex, Ramina, Reggiani Macchine, Siltex, Simet, Stalam, Tecnorama, Unitech, Zanfrini, and Zappa.

The United States remains a key market for Italian textile machinery, ranking fourth globally after China, Turkey, and India. In 2024, Italian exports to the U.S. totaled €112 million, maintaining steady performance despite global market challenges.

The U.S. textile industry continues to play a vital role in the country’s manufacturing economy, with annual sales exceeding $64 billion and employing over 500,000 workers. U.S. companies are also major investors in advanced technology, demonstrated by textile machinery imports valued at around $1 billion in 2024.

“The 2025 edition of Techtextil North America comes during a time of global uncertainty in the textile machinery industry,” said Marco Salvadè, President of ACIMIT. “However, the increased presence of Italian companies reflects cautious optimism and a growing interest in U.S. textile sector projects.”

The strong Italian presence at Techtextil North America 2025 highlights the country’s ongoing commitment to supporting innovation and collaboration within the global textile and technical fabrics market.
