Specialty chemicals manufacturer LANXESS has announced an immediate increase in the price of adipic acid across global markets.
The company stated that prices will rise by an average of EUR 100 per ton worldwide.
According to LANXESS, the decision is driven by continued and cumulative cost pressures, particularly due to significantly higher raw material expenses.
Despite ongoing efforts to control rising costs and maintain stable pricing, the company noted that this adjustment is necessary to ensure the long-term sustainability, reliability, and continuity of adipic acid supplies.
