LANXESS Showcases Rubber Solutions at India Rubber Expo 2026

Specialty chemicals company LANXESS is participating in the 12th edition of India Rubber Expo 2026, being held from April 7–10 at ITPO, Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. At Booth B006 in Hall 5, the company is presenting a comprehensive range of innovative rubber chemicals, specialty additives, and processing solutions designed for the rubber industry.

LANXESS is highlighting its extensive portfolio of Functional Tire Additives (FTA), offering solutions across all stages of rubber production. This includes accelerators, antioxidants, anti-ozonants, and peptizers, enabling enhanced durability and performance in tire and technical rubber goods.

A key focus at the exhibition is the introduction of Vulkanox HS Scopeblue, a sustainable version of the well-established antioxidant Vulkanox HS (TMQ). Designed to protect rubber products from degradation caused by oxygen and heat, the product features low volatility and minimal migration. Compared to conventional alternatives, it offers a carbon footprint reduction of over 30 percent and is produced using 55 percent sustainable raw materials, including biocircular acetone and renewable energy, in an ISCC PLUS-certified facility in Germany.

The company is also showcasing Vulkanox 4060, a more environmentally optimized alternative to 6PPD, which delivers comparable protection against oxidative aging in both tire compounds and finished products.

In addition to these innovations, LANXESS is presenting its broader portfolio, including well-known product lines such as Vulkacit®, Vulkanox®, Renacit®, and Zinkoxyd aktiv®, among others.

Within its Specialty Rubber Products (SRP) segment, LANXESS offers high-performance solutions spanning the entire value chain—from compound development to final applications. The portfolio includes pre-dispersed chemicals, processing aids, vulcanization activators, release agents, latex chemicals, footwear additives, and tire-curing components, all designed to enhance efficiency, quality, and product performance.

The company is also emphasizing its manufacturing capabilities in India, supported by its modern release agent production facility in Jhagadia. Products such as Rhenodiv BP-337 and BP-338 enable clean and efficient demolding of vulcanized tires while reducing material usage and eliminating hydrogen release during processing.

Advanced SRP solutions such as Rhenogran® CLD 80, Aflux® SD, and Vulcuren® are engineered to improve crosslinking efficiency, processing stability, and long-term dynamic performance. These innovations support the development of next-generation low rolling resistance compounds, contributing to the production of energy-efficient and sustainable “green tires.”

In the area of plasticizers and flame retardants, LANXESS is showcasing a diverse portfolio of high-performance additives, including phthalate-free plasticizers, polymeric plasticizers with enhanced extraction resistance, and both halogen-free phosphate-based and brominated flame retardants suitable for high-temperature applications.

Through its participation at India Rubber Expo 2026, LANXESS reinforces its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and advancing performance solutions for the evolving global rubber industry.
