Md. Aslam Hossain Takes Charge as SPWA President
Md. Aslam Hossain has been appointed as the new president of the Screen Print Welfare Association (SPWA), a key body representing professionals in Bangladesh’s screen printing industry. The announcement was made during the association’s annual gathering held in December 2024 at Megbari Resort in Gazipur, which saw the participation of over 2,500 industry members.
In his new role, Aslam Hossain aims to enhance workforce skills, generate employment opportunities, and promote eco-friendly practices within the sector. His vision focuses on strengthening SPWA’s role in supporting sustainable growth and innovation in screen printing.
Established in 2015, SPWA now represents over 4,200 members and 1,748 factories, playing a crucial role in advocating for the rights and development of screen printing professionals across the country.
