New Collection Introduced Using Innovative Lyocell Fabric

Circ®, a textile-to-textile recycling pioneer, partnered with Zalando, Europe’s top fashion e-commerce platform, to launch the first garments made with Circ Lyocell. This innovative fiber is created partially from recycled polycotton waste and features in Zalando’s Anna Field private label, debuting with a blouse and dress in a stone-washed dark blue hue—both crafted from 100% Circ Lyocell containing 40% recycled textile input.

Anna Field, one of Zalando’s six in-house brands, combines modern, feminine style with sustainable design at accessible prices. This launch demonstrates Zalando’s aim to integrate circular materials into its fashion offerings without compromising on quality or affordability. The collaboration also supports Zalando’s broader commitment to circularity, reinforced by its investment in Circ and efforts to promote closed-loop supply chains.

“At Circ, we’re focused on proving that recycled materials can match – and even exceed – the quality, performance, and style of virgin fabrics,” said Peter Majeranowski, CEO of Circ. “Zalando’s scale and ambition make them an ideal partner to show what’s possible. We’re excited to launch this collection with Anna Field and make circular fashion more accessible to consumers across Europe.”

“Partnering with Circ allows us to bring cutting-edge recycled materials into our designs, expand our quality and more sustainable assortment, without compromising affordability,” added Aylin Dobberstein, VP of Private Label & Product Supply at Zalando. “As both investors and collaborators, we’re proud that this Circ x Anna Field collection brings textile-to-textile recycling one step closer to the everyday wardrobe. It also reinforces our belief that advancing circularity at scale is only possible through strong, purpose-driven collaboration.”

Circ Lyocell is produced from pulp recovered from polycotton blends—materials typically bound for landfills or incineration. This breakthrough enables the creation of high-quality lyocell fibers that minimize virgin material usage and promote sustainability. As global demand for circular materials rises, Circ’s innovation offers a commercially viable solution for scaling sustainable fashion. This launch marks the beginning of Circ’s Fiber Club initiative, with more Zalando pieces using Circ materials expected soon.
