PrimaLoft, a global leader in advanced insulation materials, has introduced Ultrapeak, its highest-performing and most sustainable insulation to date. Developed after years of intensive research, Ultrapeak combines superior thermal performance, softness, and reduced environmental impact.
High Performance with Lower Emissions
Ultrapeak is crafted from 100% recycled fibres and produced using PrimaLoft’s PURE (Produced Using Reduced Emissions) technology, which reduces carbon emissions by at least 50% compared to conventional manufacturing. The material offers exceptional warmth, volume, and softness, making it the warmest insulation in the PrimaLoft portfolio.

Its specially engineered fibres interlock to trap heat effectively while maintaining lightness and resilience. This unique structure provides a soft, lofty texture comparable to down but entirely free from animal-derived materials. Additionally, the insulation retains its shape and performance even after repeated use.
Designed for Efficiency and Comfort
Ultrapeak’s user-friendly handling simplifies garment production, improving efficiency for manufacturers of outdoor and performance apparel. Through fibre redesign, PrimaLoft has achieved an optimal balance of warmth, comfort, and durability suitable for diverse high-performance applications.
Moving Towards Responsible Manufacturing
The launch of Ultrapeak aligns with PrimaLoft’s commitment to sustainable and responsible production. Since early 2025, the company has integrated PURE technology into its Gold Insulation range, with additional products planned. This initiative forms part of PrimaLoft’s “Relentlessly Responsible” philosophy — merging technological innovation with measurable environmental impact reduction.
For fashion and product designers, Ultrapeak exemplifies how material innovation can advance circularity and resource efficiency, achieving both performance and sustainability objectives.
