The Press Information Bureau (PIB) in Delhi announced that the Ministry of Textiles, responding to requests from industry stakeholders, has decided to reopen the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme portal. This reopening is for inviting fresh applications from interested companies under the PLI Scheme for Textiles, specifically for MMF (Man-Made Fibre) apparel, MMF fabrics, and products of technical textiles.
The application portal will remain accessible until 31st August 2025. All the terms and conditions, as previously notified through the relevant scheme guidelines and official notifications, will remain applicable mutatis mutandis (meaning without change in their essential details) for this round of applications.
The Ministry has urged all eligible and interested companies to take advantage of this reopening and submit their applications within the prescribed timeline.
