The Association’s 65th Annual General Meeting marked a significant occasion with the presentation of the Export Excellence and Research & Development Awards for 2024-25. These awards honored leading companies in the textile machinery industry for their exceptional export performance and innovative advancements in technology. The ceremony highlighted the sector’s resilience, global reach, and continuous drive towards innovation.

Citation of Export Excellence and R&D Awards 2024-25
The Association’s Export Awards Scheme covers the following categories of Awards: –
- Apex Export Award
- Segment Export Awards for each of the major sectors of the Textile Machinery Industry i.e.
- Textile Machinery Sector
- Parts and Accessories Sector
- Textile Testing, Monitoring & Controlling Instruments Sector
- Special Export Awards: Category-wise
The Association also presents Research and Development Awards for indigenous development of new technology/processes under different categories in the field of Textile Machinery Industry.
- EXPORT EXCELLENCE AWARDS:
The Association received 35 nominations from 18-member companies for 3 categories and 11 sub-categories (total 13) of Export Excellence Awards, out of which 9 winners and 2 joint winners were declared. The Awards Committee of the Association evaluated these nominations and selected 11 of them as winners.

The Apex Award Winner is: Rieter India Pvt. Ltd., Pune

During the year their overall turnover was Rs. 970 crores out of which their total weighted export (direct + indirect) was Rs. 239 crores.

In the year gone by, they had an overall turnover of Rs. 167 crores out of which their total weighted export (direct + indirect) was Rs. 34 crores.

- RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT AWARDS:
This year 8-member companies sent nominations for 10 Product-R&D Awards. The Jury considered 1 nomination eligible for the ‘Innovation Award’ whereas 3 nominations were given ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ for their R&D efforts during the year 2024-25.

- A Certificate of Appreciation is awarded to Rabatex Industries, Ahmedabad for their development of “MONO MOTHER YARN SPLIT SECTIONAL WARPING MACHINE”
USP: Mono Mother Yarn Split Sectional Warping Machine is a specialized warping system designed to handle multi-strand synthetic yarn packages such as mother yarns which are later split into mono yarn (240 denier mother yarn is split in 12 strands of 20 Denier mono filament yarn). The machine warps each yarn onto the large warping drum in sections, precisely controlling head weight and width as per weaving requirements. After warping, the yarns are
collectively unwound onto a weaving beam for use on looms.
