Recover and Intradeco Launch Cotton Recycling Plant in El Salvador
Madrid-based textile innovator Recover has partnered with Miami clothing supplier Intradeco to build a large-scale cotton recycling facility in El Salvador, set to begin operations in 2025.
While construction is underway, initial cotton shredding will be managed at Recover’s existing facility in Spain. This strategic expansion aims to boost sustainable textile production and shorten supply chains for brands in the U.S. and the CAFTA region.
By combining advanced recycling technology and local textile waste sources, the plant will reduce environmental impact and delivery times. It also supports growing industry demand for affordable, eco-conscious fashion solutions.
With operations already in Spain, Vietnam, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, Recover is now extending its global footprint into Central America.
