Asahi Kasei’s stretch fibre brand ROICA™ is returning to ISPO Munich 2025 with new developments in responsible stretch technology for sports and activewear. Featured at the Asahi Kasei booth (Hall B1, Booth 308), the brand will present innovations created in collaboration with seven European textile partners: Brugnoli, Cifra, Iluna Group, Inplet Pletiva, Penn Solutions, Sitip, and Tessitura Colombo Antonio.
Two key initiatives will be highlighted this year. The first is the use of ROICA™ V550 in the official uniforms for EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, developed by CRAFTEVO® -V&A Japan. This project introduces compostable uniforms that will be collected and composted after the event. The second is a collaboration between NILIT and ROICA™ to create a lower-impact fabric concept that combines SENSIL® By-Nature Nylon 6.6 with ROICA™ made using a mass balance approach and renewable feedstock.

Partner Highlights at ISPO 2025

Special Exhibits
ROICA™ will also highlight its role in the EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai uniform project, where the degradable ROICA™ V550 plays a key role in supporting circularity. Another exhibit focuses on the NILIT × ROICA™ collaboration using renewable feedstock through a mass balance system.
On November 30th, ROICA™ will participate in a presentation in the ISPO Brandnew area, showcasing the EXPO uniform project along with a detailed video by V&A Japan.
Through these collaborations and innovations, ROICA™ continues to emphasise responsible material development and performance-focused textile solutions for the sportswear industry.
