Twelve Expert Workshops at RMC 2025 Promote Practice

The Renewable Materials Conference (RMC) 2025, organized by nova-Institute from 22–24 September in Germany, is set to bring together more than 500 global participants across industry, academia, and policy. This year’s standout feature is a robust workshop program alongside the main conference, with 12 interactive expert-led sessions focused on practical solutions, policy development, and innovation in renewable carbon and sustainable materials.

The conference, a leading platform in the sector, will explore defossilisation, fossil-free chemicals, CO₂ utilisation, recycling, and bio-based innovations through 75 presentations and 20 panel discussions. A strong emphasis is placed on sector-specific knowledge exchange. Workshops on all three days include themes such as turning CO₂ into business, policy tools for petrochemical transformation, business planning for start-ups, AI in polymer design, Life Cycle Assessment, and communication strategies.

Among the highlights: Holcim will present commercial CO₂ innovations, TNO will showcase AI-powered polymer design, and BASF and HYDRA will discuss biodegradability in the circular economy. Additionally, marketing experts will provide guidance on public communication for bio-based materials.

The conference will also feature the “Renewable Material of the Year 2025” award, a sponsor-backed innovation competition recognizing breakthrough materials.

Early-bird discounts of 10% are available until 17 August.
