EcoLine represents a new generation of functional, flame-retardant upholstery fabrics that combine sustainability, performance, and modern design. Made entirely from recycled PET bottles, these fabrics are not only environmentally responsible but also recyclable at the end of their lifecycle thanks to their single-fiber composition.
Sustainable Manufacturing Process
The journey begins in Italy with the collection and sorting of post-consumer plastic bottles. These bottles are cleaned, shredded, and converted into polymer granulate, which is then spun into high-quality filament yarn. This process is fully mechanical and free from chemical treatments, supporting a cleaner environment.
The yarn is:
- Certified according to Global Recycle Standard (GRS)
- Tested to OEKO-TEX Standard 100
Production is completed in Germany, ensuring short transportation routes and traceable quality control. The resulting fabrics are permanently flame-retardant—without the use of harmful chemical finishes—and remain effective throughout the product’s lifespan.
