Uzbekistan Showcases Textile Capabilities at International Istanbul Yarn Fair

National pavilion highlights “Made in Uzbekistan” products and export potential

Uzbekistan’s textile industry participated in the “International İstanbul Yarn Fair”, presenting its manufacturing capabilities to global industry stakeholders. The event brought together international yarn and textile producers, buyers, and importers. Uzbek companies used the platform to explore new markets and expand business connections.
As part of the “International İstanbul Yarn Fair”, representatives of Uzbekistan’s textile sector showcased their products and capabilities to an international audience, according to Dunyo IA.

The exhibition featured leading global yarn and textile manufacturers, importers, and major buyers, providing an opportunity for participating companies to engage with international markets and develop new business relationships.

Uzbekistan was represented by 12 textile enterprises under the national brand “Made in Uzbekistan”. A dedicated national pavilion covering 120 square meters was set up for this purpose.

Participating companies included “Bukhara Pesh Tex”, “Global Textile Infinity”, “Akpamuk”, “Bhr Spinning”, and “Qoqon Global Teks”. These firms presented a range of products, including yarn, knitwear, and other textile items.

The pavilion was designed with a unified concept, enabling visitors to view the country’s textile production capabilities, product quality standards, and manufacturing approaches. The display also reflected compliance with environmental standards and an emphasis on sustainable production practices.

During the event, B2B meetings were conducted with Turkish importers and sourcing companies, including “Akpamuk Iplik”, “Anadolu Iplik”, “Bamisi Tekstil”, and “Peker Tekstil”. Discussions focused on potential cooperation, supply expansion, and long-term agreements.

Interest in Uzbek textile products was observed during these meetings. Agreements were reached with several companies, and areas for further collaboration were identified.

Participation in the “International İstanbul Yarn Fair” contributed to efforts aimed at expanding Uzbekistan’s textile exports and strengthening the presence of the “Made in Uzbekistan” brand in international markets.
