Yarn Expo Autumn 2025, described as its “most comprehensive edition yet,” will open in Shanghai from 2–4 September at the National Exhibition and Convention Center, showcasing nearly 580 exhibitors from 16 countries and regions. With seven product zones—International Yarn, Cotton Yarn, Chemical Fibre, Fancy Yarn, Linen Yarn, Silk Yarn, and Wool Yarn—buyers will have extensive sourcing options. This year introduces the Taiwan Zone alongside the returning India Pavilion and Pakistan Zone. Covering 27,000 sqm in Hall 8.2, the show promises innovation, sustainability, and international business exchange.
Ms. Wilmet Shea, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, said: “Yarn Expo Autumn 2025 is our most comprehensive edition yet. Time and again, this fair proves to be one of the most vital sourcing hubs for thousands of diverse buyers, while the platform is essential for suppliers looking to get international business and penetrate the Asian and Chinese markets. Shanghai is an industry hub in its own right, but during this show it really serves as the global industry’s gathering point. We are really looking forward to the coming three days of business and insight exchange.”
The Chemical Fibre Zone will feature over 240 exhibitors presenting high-quality synthetic fibres, while the Fancy Yarn Zone will host more than 120 suppliers showcasing on-trend products. Linen, silk, and wool yarn innovations will be displayed by nearly 30 exhibitors. The Cotton Yarn Zone will spotlight sustainability and fashion with over 70 exhibitors. The India Pavilion, Pakistan Zone, and Taiwan Zone will bring together suppliers from their respective regions, strengthening global sourcing opportunities.
Alongside sourcing, fringe events will highlight trends and innovations. The China Fibre Fashion Trends Display Zone will showcase 300+ fibre samples, while the Textile Materials Innovation Forum will gather professors and executives to discuss intelligent textiles and fibre development. Eleven product launches will also be presented.
Held concurrently with Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn Edition, CHIC, and PH Value, Yarn Expo Autumn will generate strong synergies across the textile chain. It will also align with Cinte Techtextil China (3–5 September), Asia’s only dedicated show for technical textiles and nonwovens, further boosting industry momentum.
Organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd and the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT, the show is a leading global platform for yarn and fibre sourcing.
