
Sanand, Gujarat – May 5, 2025 – Trützschler India has officially opened its new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Sanand, marking a significant expansion from its former Ahmedabad location. This modern plant is designed to boost production efficiency, sustainability, and innovation for both domestic and international markets.

Spanning 164,000 square meters, with a built-up area of 72,000 square meters, the new facility will produce advanced textile machinery including spinning preparation systems, card clothing, and nonwoven equipment. Over 1,000 employees will support the operations, making it a major hub for Trützschler’s global supply chain.

Built with a strong commitment to sustainability, the facility features solar energy systems, rainwater harvesting, electric vehicle charging stations, and AI-powered process optimization. It adheres to top international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 and is on track to earn a Gold rating from the Indian Green Building Council.
The site also includes a cutting-edge Customer Training Center and an expanded Trützschler Training Academy to promote skill development in line with the Indian government’s Skill India Mission.
The inauguration was attended by prominent dignitaries including Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Bhai Patel, German Consul General Achim Fabig, and Members of Parliament, alongside Trützschler’s global leadership and partners.
