The Techtextil and Texprocess Innovation Awards 2026 winners have been revealed, with 17 global innovators recognized across ten categories. These awards celebrate cutting-edge research, advanced materials, breakthrough products, and innovative processes and technologies. The impact of these developments extends far beyond the textile sector, influencing industries such as automotive, aerospace, medical, construction, architecture, and robotics.
The official awards ceremony is scheduled for 21 April during Techtextil and Texprocess in Frankfurt. From 21 to 24 April, attendees can explore a dedicated exhibition of the winning entries, along with guided tours offering detailed insights into the innovations.
Amid increasing global challenges faced by the textile industry and its related sectors, this year’s award-winning solutions address key issues shaping the future. These include enabling smart and sustainable applications across industries, advancing circular solutions for synthetic textiles, leveraging artificial intelligence within the textile value chain, reducing reliance on PFAS and fossil-based chemicals, and driving further automation in textile production.
The 17 winners were selected by two highly respected expert juries, whose extensive knowledge ensured a thorough evaluation process and highlighted innovations with strong potential to drive future growth and transformation.
Sabine Scharrer, Director Brand Management Technical Textiles & Textile Processing at Messe Frankfurt, stated, “We are thrilled by the extraordinary breadth of ideas.
