Gartex Texprocess India 2026, incorporating the Denim Show, concluded on a high note after attracting 15,079 visitors and facilitating extensive buyer-seller engagement across the garment, textile, and denim manufacturing ecosystem.
The three-day exhibition highlighted the growing importance of automation, artificial intelligence, digitalisation, and sustainable manufacturing in India’s textile and apparel industry. The event served as a key platform for manufacturers, technology providers, sourcing professionals, exporters, retailers, and factory owners to explore the latest machinery, production technologies, and business opportunities.
The exhibition featured more than 190 exhibitors, including over 40 first-time participants, with strong participation from companies representing India, China, Japan, Singapore, Italy, Germany, Taiwan, Turkey, and Hong Kong.
Throughout the event, exhibitors showcased a wide range of advanced technologies designed to improve productivity, reduce manufacturing time, minimise waste, conserve energy and water, and reduce dependence on manual labour. Several companies also introduced machinery integrated with artificial intelligence, reflecting the industry’s increasing focus on smart manufacturing.
Live product demonstrations, technology consultations, and dedicated buyer meetings enabled visitors to compare different manufacturing solutions and evaluate technologies that align with evolving market demands.
The exhibition floor featured innovations across multiple categories, including garment and apparel machinery, textile processing equipment, digital printing technologies, knitting machinery, denim fabrics, finishing solutions, dyes, chemicals, and automation systems.
Exhibitors expressed satisfaction with the quality of visitors and the business opportunities generated during the event.
Mr. Mukund Agarwal, Director of Baba Textile Machinery India Pvt. Ltd., said the exhibition generated significant footfall despite adverse weather conditions and helped the company convert several leads while expanding its client base. He also highlighted the positive response to new embroidery and printing technologies showcased during the event.
Mr. Abhinav Arya, Managing Director of Fabcare (India) Pvt. Ltd., noted that Gartex Texprocess India continues to attract serious buyers from both the textile and garment industries while also witnessing increasing participation from the laundry and dry-cleaning sectors. He emphasised that the exhibition provides an ideal platform for launching new products and conducting live demonstrations.
Participating in the exhibition for the first time, Mr. Janak Sutaria, Managing Director of Silver Samurai Textile Machineries, reported strong customer engagement and highlighted the launch of three new high-end elastic manufacturing machines designed specifically for the Indian market.
The Denim Show also received an encouraging response from exhibitors.
