ASICS athletes Harmanjot Singh and Bhagirathi Bisht delivered strong performances at the 15th NMDC Hyderabad Marathon 2026, securing podium finishes at one of India’s prominent distance-running events.
ASICS, the global Japanese sportswear brand and Official Sports Goods Partner of the 15th NMDC Hyderabad Marathon, saw Harmanjot Singh finish first in the Half Marathon category, while Bhagirathi Bisht secured second place in the Elite Women’s category.
The 15th edition of the marathon brought together thousands of runners from across India, highlighting the continued growth of distance running and the expanding running community in the country.
ASICS Athletes Lead Strong Race Performance
Harmanjot Singh’s first-place finish in the Half Marathon category marked a notable performance for the ASICS athlete, while Bhagirathi Bisht’s second-place finish in the Elite Women’s category added another podium result for the brand.
Their performances reflected the discipline, endurance and consistency required in competitive distance running and reinforced ASICS’ focus on supporting athletes across different levels of the sport.
Bringing the Running Community Together
Beyond the competitive action, ASICS created an engaging experience for participants through ASICS House, a dedicated post-race recovery zone.
The space provided runners with opportunities to unwind and celebrate their marathon experience, featuring a medal customisation station, photo booth and giveaways.
Along the race route, members of the ASICS Run Club (ARC) supported participants at the Motivation Zone, encouraging runners and helping maintain the energy throughout the course.
The activities reflected the brand’s wider effort to connect with India’s growing running community beyond race-day performance.
Promoting the ‘Sound Mind, Sound Body’ Philosophy
ASICS’ presence at the marathon was also rooted in its long-standing ‘Sound Mind, Sound Body’ philosophy.
Through its campaign, the brand highlighted the experiences of everyday runners and their individual journeys, focusing on themes of discipline, resilience and personal progress.
The campaign reinforces the idea that running can contribute not only to physical performance but also to overall wellbeing and everyday confidence.
Supporting India’s Growing Running Culture
The 15th NMDC Hyderabad Marathon represents another milestone in ASICS’ engagement with India’s expanding running ecosystem.
Through partnerships with leading running platforms, athlete support and a focus on performance innovation, ASICS continues to contribute to the development of a more performance-oriented running culture in the country.
The podium finishes by Harmanjot Singh and Bhagirathi Bisht further underline the brand’s presence in competitive distance running, while its community initiatives demonstrate its broader commitment to runners at every stage of their journey.
Guided by ‘Sound Mind, Sound Body’, ASICS continues to encourage runners to pursue greater performance, confidence and purpose through movement.
