China Deploys AI-Powered Satellite Network for Space Supercomputing

China has taken a major leap in space-based technology by launching the first 12 satellites of its ambitious “Three-Body Computing Constellation.” Deployed via a Long March 2D rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre, the satellites are equipped with advanced AI processors and high-speed laser communication systems.

This pioneering constellation is designed to function as a supercomputer in orbit, enabling rapid data processing without relying on ground stations. The interconnected satellites can analyze information collaboratively, enhancing processing speed, minimizing latency, and reducing data transmission losses.

The project will also test cutting-edge technologies such as laser inter-satellite communication and deep-space monitoring, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in space-based infrastructure.
