Expectations for the Union Budget in 2025 Rahul Nainani’s

Unbelievably, India, which ranks second in the world for plastic garbage production, imports plastic waste from other countries because of insufficient waste collection incentives and procedures. This is unacceptable to us.

Our goal at ReCircle has been to provide the infrastructure required for recycling and garbage recovery across the country.

Bringing the economic and ecological together

ReCircle, which has its headquarters in Mumbai, is situated between the biggest dump and India’s economic hub. ReCircle works to promote the delicate balance between environmental care and economic growth, and this microcosm of opposites acts as a continual reminder of that. We take great satisfaction in establishing the benchmark for brands to responsibly strive for excellence.

Either a circular problem or a circular solution can be found in waste.

Whether we realise it or not, waste has an impact on all life. However, there is always a solution to a problem. Reengineered waste has the potential to become a new raw resource. We at ReCircle have benefited from waste’s changing role. We notice a new reused object where you see merely a discarded plastic packet. Come see for yourself!

In the direction of a sustainable future, every tiny step in waste management is a huge leap.

Everyday little actions have a huge impact. In 2016, ReCircle began as a grassroots rubbish gathering aggregator. With 8800 kg recovered each hour, we have developed into the go-to option for individuals, local company owners, international enterprises, and metropolitan government agencies. Waste is the new eco-currency, and we’re demonstrating this together.

Waste is present. There is waste. There is waste everywhere.

ReCircle may be found anywhere there is garbage. We are traversing all of India’s towns, cities, and villages. In the battle against “wasting” garbage, ReCircle has mobilised more than 300 sites, together with more than 300 waste collection partners and 45 processors. We are gradually preparing to bring about a complete transformation of the globe.

Rahul Nainani, CEO & Co-Founder, ReCircle

“As India anticipates the 2025-26 Union Budget, there is a growing call for deeper investments in waste management to address the mounting challenges of urbanization and waste generation. The budget must prioritize substantial resource allocations for waste infrastructure, especially in Tier 2 and 3 cities, and incentivize corporate participation through public-private partnerships. By strengthening legislation on source segregation, and fostering innovation in recycling technologies, the government can accelerate progress toward achieving key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — from clean water and sanitation to affordable clean energy. Initiatives like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), and sustainability commitments have already propelled the sector forward. But this is a critical moment to completely transform India’s waste management ecosystem and become a market leader in circular economy. We look forward to playing an active role in this transformation, working alongside the government to drive impactful change.”
