Filo has released “Nexus,” the official product development inspiration video for the upcoming 65th edition of the yarn and textile exhibition. The concept was developed by Fabric Designer Rossano Bisio, and the video is now available online.
According to Paolo Monfermoso, Filo’s manager, the proposals are widely anticipated by professionals across the global textile sector. He noted that Filo aims to guide manufacturers through the entire supply chain—from yarns to fabrics, finishing, and final garments. The Nexus concepts will evolve into “Made in Filo,” a fabric collection set to be showcased during the exhibition in February 2026.
Monfermoso added that Filo continues to position itself at the centre of international textile dialogue, encouraging research, innovation, and collaboration across the industry. The next edition of Filo will take place at Fiera Milano Rho on 11–12 February 2026.
Designer Rossano Bisio explained that the title “Nexus” reflects both the interlacing of yarns and the connections across the textile supply chain. He outlined three key development themes featured in the video:
- Volumes: Wool-based proposals with dense, textured, long-lasting surfaces suitable for apparel and home furnishings.
- Geometries: Lightweight, dynamic yarns that highlight movement, layering, and colour transitions.
- Alchemies: Innovative combinations of fibres and technologies, offering experimental finishes and new performance possibilities.
