Hellmann Expands Automotive Logistics Network with New Strategic Hub in Dubai

Osnabrueck / Dubai, June 8, 2026 – Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has announced the groundbreaking of a new dedicated automotive logistics hub in the Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza), Dubai, reinforcing its long-term strategy to strengthen industry-specific logistics capabilities and expand its global network footprint.

The new facility represents a significant investment in the rapidly growing automotive logistics sector and is designed to support both existing customers and future business growth across the Middle East, Africa, and international markets.

Strengthening Automotive Supply Chains in a Growing Market

The automotive logistics market in the Middle East is expected to grow at an annual rate of approximately 4–6 percent through 2030, driven by rising vehicle ownership, expanding aftermarket services, and increasing demand for efficient spare parts distribution.

Recognizing these opportunities, Hellmann is developing a purpose-built logistics hub that will provide dedicated infrastructure for automotive spare parts management and distribution. The project is expected to enhance supply chain efficiency while supporting customers with reliable and scalable logistics solutions.

The UAE’s strategic position between Europe, Asia, and Africa makes it a critical logistics gateway for global trade. Combined with world-class infrastructure and multimodal transport connectivity, Dubai continues to attract international companies seeking to strengthen regional and global supply chain operations.

State-of-the-Art Facility Designed for Automotive Logistics

The new facility, being developed by INDU Logistics, part of the INDU Group, will cover approximately 28,000 square meters and serve as a specialized automotive hub within Hellmann’s Middle East network.

The warehouse will be equipped to handle the full spectrum of automotive spare parts logistics, including high-density bin storage, pallet racking systems, and dedicated areas for oversized and heavy automotive components.

The facility’s design focuses on flexibility and scalability, enabling efficient management of high-volume inventory while supporting distribution across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, Africa, and selected global markets.

By investing in dedicated infrastructure, Hellmann aims to improve operational efficiency, accelerate delivery performance, and provide tailored solutions for automotive manufacturers, distributors, and aftermarket service providers.

Strategic Investment Supports Long-Term Growth

According to Lee I’Ons, Regional CEO IMEA, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, the new hub represents an important step in expanding the company’s regional capabilities and supporting customer growth.

“The UAE is a strategically important market within our global network. By establishing this dedicated automotive hub in Jafza, we are systematically expanding our regional capabilities and creating further scalable, industry-focused infrastructure. This enables us to deliver competitive, high-performance logistics solutions for our customers and to support their long-term growth,” he said.

The investment aligns with Hellmann’s broader strategy of developing specialized logistics solutions tailored to key industry sectors, including automotive, healthcare, industrial manufacturing, and consumer goods.

Dubai Reinforces Position as Regional Logistics Leader

Industry leaders view the project as further evidence of Dubai’s growing importance as a logistics and distribution center for global supply chains.

Abdulla Al Hashmi, Global Chief Operating Officer, Parks and Economic Zones at DP World, highlighted the significance of continued infrastructure development in supporting the automotive sector.

“Hellmann’s investment in Jebel Ali Free Zone reflects the rapid pace at which the automotive industry is growing in the Middle East, with customers looking for faster, more reliable access to critical spare parts across multiple markets. By continuing to build specialized infrastructure in Dubai, we are supporting our partners in managing uncertainty and keeping their operations moving,” he said.

Driving Future Automotive Logistics Growth

The new automotive logistics hub is expected to play a vital role in strengthening regional supply chains while providing customers with improved inventory management, faster distribution capabilities, and enhanced service reliability.

As automotive manufacturers and distributors continue to prioritize supply chain resilience and operational efficiency, investments in specialized logistics infrastructure are becoming increasingly important. Through its latest expansion in Dubai, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics is positioning itself to capitalize on growing market demand while supporting the evolving needs of the automotive industry across the Middle East and beyond.
