Mayer & Cie. Launches Control 5.0 for Smarter Knitting Operations
Mayer & Cie., a global leader in circular knitting machines, has unveiled Control 5.0, a next-generation system designed to digitally transform textile production. Built for IoT compatibility, Control 5.0 enables real-time monitoring and smarter machine operation through online connectivity.
Available for machines manufactured since 2001 and included in all new models from 2024 onward, Control 5.0 supports two user interfaces: Smart Control for tablet-based remote access, and Classic Control, a traditional touchscreen option on the machine. Both enhance operator flexibility and workflow efficiency.
The system seamlessly integrates with Mayer & Cie.’s knitlink platform, giving users access to live machine data, remote diagnostics, and simplified spare parts ordering. Control 5.0 not only minimizes downtime but also improves overall machine management in high-speed textile production environments.
