Ms. Neelam Shami Rao, Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, launched the Bharat Tex 2026 Event App, a digital platform aimed at enhancing the experience of buyers, international delegates, speakers, sourcing consultants, partners, exhibitors and visitors participating in Bharat Tex 2026.
The Bharat Tex 2026 App has been introduced as part of the event’s digital-first approach and is intended to support business matchmaking, attendee engagement, networking and event management across the exhibition.
The application enables registered participants to access event schedules, exhibitor information, meeting management tools, venue navigation, lead capture features, knowledge session details and real-time updates through a single platform.
The app includes personalised access and engagement tools designed for exhibitors, speakers, overseas buyers, domestic volume buyers, sourcing consultants, international delegates and general visitors.
One of the key features is the AI Smart Assistant, which functions as a 24×7 conversational support tool for attendees. Users can ask event-related questions in simple language and receive information related to the venue, schedules, directions and other event details.
The app also includes networking and meeting management modules that allow exhibitors, buyers and delegates to discover business partners, schedule meetings, manage availability and track meeting requests. A QR-based Lead Wallet and lead capture system will allow participants to scan digital badges and save contact information for post-event communication.
Venue navigation tools have also been integrated into the application. Participants can access floor plans, search for booths, locate companies and receive stall-level directions inside Bharat Mandapam.
For international buyers and trade visitors, the exhibitor discovery section provides search and filter functions across exhibitor categories. Users can search companies by name, exhibitor type and product category for targeted sourcing and business interaction.
The platform also offers access to live event agendas and conference schedules, allowing attendees to create personalised agendas and receive session notifications for policy discussions, industry sessions and knowledge-sharing events.

Bharat Tex 2026 is being organised by the Bharat Tex Trade Federation, a consortium of 11 textile Export Promotion Councils and industry bodies, with support from the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. The event is inspired by the Prime Minister’s 5F vision — Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign.
Bharat Tex 2026 will be held from 14–17 July 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The event is expected to host more than 7,000 international buyers and over 1,30,000 trade visitors from across the textile sector.
The exhibition will cover the full textile value chain, including fibres, yarns, fabrics, apparel, home textiles, technical textiles, handlooms, handicrafts, sustainable textiles and intelligent manufacturing technologies.
