Growing global demand for renewable materials, transparent sourcing and circular textile solutions is driving renewed interest in natural fibres, with Yarn Expo Autumn 2026 set to showcase an extensive range of cotton yarns, sustainable fibres and innovative material solutions from 25–27 August 2026 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center, Shanghai.
A key highlight of this year’s exhibition is the significantly expanded India Pavilion, organised by TEXPROCIL, which will feature more than 40 exhibitors—more than double the participation recorded at the previous edition. The pavilion will strengthen India’s position as a leading sourcing destination for premium cotton yarns and sustainable fibre solutions.
The growing importance of renewable textile materials is reflected in the global natural fibre market, which is projected to reach USD 68.37 billion in 2026. Buyers attending the exhibition will have opportunities to source traceable cotton, recycled yarns, certified fibres and high-performance natural blends for apparel, home textiles and technical applications.
The India Pavilion will showcase a broad portfolio of BCI-certified, combed and compact cotton yarns, alongside products developed under the Kasturi Cotton Bharat traceability initiative. Exhibitors including Excel Enterprise will present premium Shankar-6 raw cotton and long-staple combed cotton yarns designed for fine weaving and circular knitting, while Shreedhar Cotsyn will display compact cotton yarns, mélange collections and cotton blends incorporating acrylic, viscose and plant-based cellulose for fashion, activewear and intimate apparel.
Beyond India, the exhibition will feature suppliers from major cotton-producing countries. Cotton Council International (USA) will showcase COTTON USA™ yarns with farm-to-spindle transparency and sustainability credentials. Indonesia’s Duniatex Group will present integrated spinning, weaving, knitting and dyeing capabilities, while Pakistan’s Ihsan Cotton Products will introduce recycled cotton open-end yarns manufactured using post-industrial textile waste.
Visitors will also discover a wide range of next-generation sustainable fibres. PT DAN LIRIS (Indonesia) and Toray Industries Inc. (Japan) will highlight TENCEL™-related fibre solutions, while Yajur Fibres (India) and Better International (Hong Kong) will present bamboo fibre products. Circ Inc. (USA) and Everest Textile (Taiwan) will showcase advanced lyocell innovations, demonstrating the industry’s growing focus on lower-impact and circular fibre technologies.
Yarn Expo Autumn 2026 will be held alongside Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn Edition, CHIC, and PH Value, creating an integrated sourcing platform that connects the yarn, fibre, fabric, apparel and knitting sectors under one roof. The co-located events are expected to provide buyers and exhibitors with expanded networking, sourcing and business development opportunities across the global textile value chain.
