Savio to Showcase Advanced Winding and Spinning Technologies at ITM Istanbul 2026

Savio Macchine Tessili, a global leader in yarn finishing technologies, has announced its participation in ITM Istanbul 2026, where it will present its latest innovations in winding and spinning machinery. Exhibiting within the Vandewiele Group booth, Savio will highlight three flagship solutions—Proxima Smartconer®, Lybra Smartspinner® and Phoenix Assembly Winder—designed to help textile manufacturers enhance productivity, automation, sustainability and yarn quality. The company’s showcase will focus on intelligent manufacturing solutions that address the evolving needs of modern textile mills, enabling greater operational efficiency, digital connectivity and cost optimization.

Proxima Smartconer®: Next-Generation Smart Winding Technology

At the center of Savio’s presentation will be the Proxima Smartconer®, the company’s advanced winding platform engineered to deliver superior yarn quality, high productivity and reduced energy consumption.

The versatile platform is available in multiple configurations, including fully automatic, manual feeding, cone-to-cone, Duo Lot and large bobbin feeding solutions for the carded wool sector. Equipped with AI-powered functions and advanced automation capabilities, Proxima Smartconer® optimizes bobbin flow while minimizing operational costs.

The system is integrated with Savio Insight, a web-based digital platform that enables remote machine setup, real-time performance monitoring, production data analysis and predictive maintenance, supporting Industry 4.0 manufacturing environments.

Phoenix Assembly Winder Returns with Enhanced Digital Capabilities

Savio will also showcase the upgraded Phoenix Assembly Winder, designed to deliver precision winding, excellent package quality and high operational efficiency.

Capable of reaching yarn take-up speeds of up to 1,000 meters per minute, Phoenix is suitable for processing all discontinuous fiber yarns ranging from Ne 1 to Ne 140. The machine features the innovative Savio Multicone digital thread guide, which significantly reduces setup times while improving package formation quality.

These enhancements ensure superior performance in downstream Two-for-One twisting processes, helping manufacturers achieve consistent yarn quality while reducing production costs.

Lybra Smartspinner® Introduces Flexible Air-Jet Spinning Solutions

Another key attraction at ITM 2026 will be the Lybra Smartspinner®, Savio’s advanced air-jet spinning technology developed for applications such as knitting, home textiles, technical textiles and sunshade fabrics.

A unique feature of the system is the Multi Blend System, which allows two slivers to be fed directly into the spinning chamber. This innovative technology enables real-time blend modifications, reduces preparation costs and creates distinctive color and material effects, including mélange yarns.

Lybra Smartspinner® offers manufacturers greater flexibility, higher production efficiency and reduced processing costs while supporting the creation of innovative yarn structures.

Driving Smarter and More Sustainable Textile Manufacturing

Savio’s participation at ITM Istanbul 2026 reflects its commitment to delivering intelligent and sustainable textile production technologies. By combining automation, digitalization and energy-efficient machine design, the company aims to help textile mills modernize operations, improve product quality and strengthen competitiveness in global markets.

Visitors to ITM Istanbul 2026 will have the opportunity to explore how Savio’s advanced winding and spinning solutions are shaping the future of textile manufacturing through enhanced efficiency, connectivity and sustainability.
