Textile Innovation Exchange (TIE) and TANATEX Chemicals B.V., a global textile chemical solutions provider and part of the Transfar International Group, have entered into a strategic partnership to strengthen innovation, technology adoption and knowledge sharing across Bangladesh’s textile and apparel industry.

The collaboration will be implemented through the Partnership for Implementation of Innovation Circles (PIIC) and the Textile Innovation Expo 2026, with the objective of improving the industry’s competitiveness through practical innovation and advanced manufacturing solutions.

As part of the agreement, TANATEX Chemicals has joined Textile Innovation Exchange as the Platinum Technology Partner for PIIC and Strategic Partner for Textile Innovation Expo 2026. The partnership will support the implementation of innovative technologies, foster collaboration between technology providers and manufacturers, and encourage the adoption of practical solutions that enhance productivity, operational efficiency and sustainability.

With Bangladesh’s textile and apparel industry facing increasing global competition and rising demand for sustainable manufacturing, the collaboration aims to help factories embrace proven technologies that deliver measurable improvements in performance. By connecting manufacturers with technology providers, the initiative will facilitate knowledge exchange, showcase successful industrial practices and accelerate the adoption of innovative manufacturing solutions.

Textile Innovation Exchange serves as a collaborative platform that brings together manufacturers, technology providers, brands, researchers, academic institutions and industry experts to strengthen Bangladesh’s textile sector. Through its flagship Partnership for Implementation of Innovation Circles (PIIC), the organisation promotes factory-level innovation and supports the practical implementation of technologies that improve productivity, quality, resource efficiency and environmental performance.

For TANATEX Chemicals, the partnership reinforces its long-term commitment to supporting Bangladesh’s textile industry through technical expertise and innovation. Leveraging its global experience, the company will contribute to technology implementation, knowledge sharing and the development of sustainable manufacturing practices that enhance factory competitiveness.

The collaboration will also play a key role in Textile Innovation Expo 2026, where successful factory innovation projects and implementation case studies will be showcased. The event will provide a platform for manufacturers, technology suppliers and industry stakeholders to exchange ideas, share best practices and promote wider adoption of advanced textile technologies.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Engr. Ehsanul Karim Kaiser, Chairman of Textile Innovation Exchange, and Orion Wu, Vice President (AMEA), TANATEX Chemicals B.V. The signing ceremony was attended by Jason Ling, Vice President – Southeast Asia, Transfar Brands, Md Aminul Islam, Country Manager, Transfar and TANATEX Brands, along with representatives from both organisations.
