Trident Showcases Innovation-Led Growth Strategy at Bharat Tex 2026

Trident Group, one of India’s leading home textile manufacturers, showcased its innovation-driven growth strategy at Bharat Tex 2026, underlining its commitment to research, sustainable manufacturing and premium home décor solutions.

Centred around the theme “The Expression of Living,” the company’s showcase reflected its vision of combining textile innovation, contemporary design and evolving consumer lifestyles to shape the future of home textiles.

Driving Growth Through Innovation

Building on a resilient FY26 performance, Trident announced that it is entering its next phase of growth by maximizing the potential of its existing manufacturing assets, accelerating digital transformation and strengthening its research and development capabilities.

The company has established a dedicated Innovation Cell and invested more than ₹100 crore in advanced research and environmental performance initiatives. Today, Trident’s innovation portfolio includes over 17 patents and 147 trademarks, supporting the development of advanced fibre blends, functional finishes and high-performance yarns designed for premium and specialised markets.

India’s Growing Global Textile Leadership

Speaking at Bharat Tex 2026, Padma Shri Dr. Rajinder Gupta, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Chairman Emeritus of Trident Group, highlighted India’s growing influence in the global textile industry.

He noted that Bharat Tex has rapidly emerged as one of the world’s most significant textile platforms, bringing together the entire textile value chain while creating new opportunities for international brands, buyers, manufacturers and innovators.

Dr. Gupta also emphasised that innovation, design and craftsmanship will remain central to Trident’s future strategy, supported by the company’s collaboration with the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) to nurture India’s next generation of design talent.

myTrident Expands Premium Home Décor Portfolio

As part of its Bharat Tex showcase, myTrident, the group’s flagship home décor brand, unveiled its upcoming festive collections along with several premium product launches.

Among the highlights were:

  • Torani for myTrident, designer Karan Torani’s first home décor collaboration.
  • The second edition of Shivan & Narresh for myTrident.
  • New premium home décor collections inspired by contemporary design and Indian craftsmanship.

According to Neha Gupta Bector, Chairperson of myTrident, the new collections reflect the belief that homes should express individuality through thoughtful design, creativity and cultural storytelling.

Expanding Retail Presence

Sharing the company’s retail strategy, Rajneesh Bhatia, CEO of myTrident, said Bharat Tex 2026 demonstrates India’s rapidly growing stature in the global textile industry.

He announced plans to expand myTrident’s retail presence from 7,000 to 10,000 touchpoints across India.

The company will also strengthen its presence in the HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants and Cafés) and institutional segments while expanding its gifting solutions portfolio to capture new growth opportunities.
