Veolia commemorated the 25th anniversary of its Hoskote manufacturing and technology facility in Bangalore on 1st April. The occasion included the inauguration of the Veolia Customer Experience Center and the introduction of a solar panel installation aligned with its decarbonization initiatives.
Established in 2001, the Hoskote plant has developed into a facility focused on membrane manufacturing, specialty chemicals, and water technology development. The site exports to more than 20 countries and includes a Technology Center that has generated over 100 patents. The facility operates with a team of engineers and scientists working on water-related solutions.
As part of its GreenUp strategy, Veolia has installed solar panels at the Hoskote plant. The company stated that the installation is expected to avoid more than 600 tonnes of CO2 equivalent per year, contributing to efforts to reduce operational carbon emissions.
The newly inaugurated Customer Experience Center at the site is intended to support collaboration and engagement with customers across South Asia. The facility includes an interactive technology showcase featuring water management solutions, including remote monitoring, data analytics, and digital systems. It also offers access to service capabilities such as onsite engineering, remote inspection, auditing, and operator training. The center includes a training space with a capacity of up to 50 participants.
