Mr. Vishal Masand, Proprietor of TiRUPATi TECHNiK, has been appointed Vice-President of the Indian Textile Accessories & Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (ITAMMA) for the year 2026/27. With around 35 years of professional experience spanning textile testing equipment, industrial engineering, business development and machinery representation, Masand brings extensive industry expertise to the association.
A Chemical Engineer with an MBA, Masand began his professional career as a trainee with Petrofils in Vadodara. He subsequently worked as a Project Engineer with Hindustan Dorr Oliver, where he was involved in the commissioning of DAP fertiliser and desalination plants. He later served as a Business Development Executive in the oil and petrochemical sector with CMC Limited.
After gaining experience across engineering and industrial sectors, Masand established TiRUPATi TECHNiK in June 1997, where he continues to serve as Proprietor.
Over the past three decades, he has developed extensive experience in the representation and servicing of international technology companies, including Lenzing Instruments GmbH & Co. KG, Austria; Move Engineering, Italy; Honigmann Electronic GmbH, Germany; and Broell Ceramics, Austria.
TiRUPATi TECHNiK represents a broad range of textile testing and industrial equipment. Its portfolio includes Lenzing Instruments’ filament, fibre and nonwoven testing equipment, along with PFY online systems (OLM) and Hypox-based cleaning equipment for polyester, polypropylene and nylon applications.
Masand’s long-standing association with international technology providers has enabled him to develop a strong understanding of textile machinery, testing technologies and industrial applications. His expertise and market presence have also contributed to the company’s position in the respective segments.
As Vice-President of ITAMMA for 2026/27, Masand is expected to continue contributing to the association’s initiatives aimed at strengthening the textile engineering ecosystem, promoting technology adoption and supporting collaboration between Indian industry and global technology providers.
Masand has been an active member of the ITAMMA Managing Committee for several years and has remained closely involved in the association’s activities. His elevation to Vice-President reflects his longstanding contribution to the textile engineering and machinery sector.
