Safety Components Fabric Technologies Inc. has introduced a new series of technical guides, product infographics and educational resources under its WeatherMAX® outdoor performance fabric brand, aimed at helping manufacturers, fabricators, dealers, designers and consumers better understand and work with WeatherMAX materials.
The new resources are designed to simplify technical product information into easy-to-use visual references that can support decision-making across product selection, fabrication, maintenance and long-term ownership.
New WeatherMAX guides support fabricators and manufacturers
According to Safety Components, the newly launched resources include a range of Makers Guides and care documentation tailored to specific WeatherMAX fabric lines.
The new series includes:
- Makers Guides for WeatherMAX 80, LT and SG – technical setup guides offering fabrication tips, machine recommendations and practical insights to help users achieve consistent, high-quality results when working with these fabrics.
- Makers Guide for WeatherMAX 3D – a specialised sewing and fabrication guide focused on the WeatherMAX 3D product line, including machine setup advice, sewing techniques and best practices aligned with the material’s unique construction and performance characteristics.
- WeatherMAX Care & Cleaning Guide – a practical reference covering recommended cleaning methods, routine maintenance advice and fabric care practices to help preserve the appearance and long-term performance of WeatherMAX materials.
Part of a broader strategy to engage the fabricator community
Safety Components said the new infographics and guides form part of a broader strategy to strengthen engagement with the fabricator community and provide more practical support for using the full WeatherMAX product range.
Angus Roberts, WeatherMAX sales and technical support, said the initiative has been launched under the theme “Explore the Craft”, which aims to showcase the possibilities across the WeatherMAX portfolio, from established fabric ranges such as WeatherMAX 80 and LT to more specialised products such as SG and 3D.
He added that the newly released infographics are intended to serve as useful technical resources for the industry, and that more educational content is expected to be added over time as the concept evolves.
Resources available through WeatherMAX website and dealer network
The full collection of WeatherMAX infographics and educational guides is now available through the brand’s website and authorised dealer network. The company said the resources can be downloaded and shared to support fabricators, manufacturers and customers working with WeatherMAX outdoor performance fabrics.
