Ottawa, Canada: BE GREEN HEROES (BGH), with support from Clean Recycling Initiative™ and HEAT-MX™, has officially launched the LEARN and EARN modules of its Web3-based environmental education platform after three and a half years of development.
The new modules aim to connect environmental education with participation and rewards, enabling users known as Green Heroes to learn practical environmental science, earn Green Hero Coins (GHC) by completing educational content, accumulate voting power and participate in the future development and governance of the BGH organization.
Connecting Environmental Education With Action
Built around the principles “LEARN. EARN. ACT.”, the platform seeks to address what BGH describes as widespread misinformation, misunderstanding and greenwashing surrounding sustainability.
The LEARN module provides accessible environmental science content designed for users with secondary-school-level knowledge. The content aims to help participants evaluate sustainability claims and understand environmental issues through practical scientific principles rather than simplified narratives.
Through the EARN module, participants can receive Green Hero Coins after completing verified educational content. The organization states that GHC may potentially be traded in the future where available and legally permitted.
The third component, ACT, connects learning and participation with the organization’s proposed governance model.
Building a Community of Green Stakeholders
According to BGH, the platform is designed to move beyond conventional online education by giving participants an opportunity to become active stakeholders.
As Green Heroes continue to learn and participate, they can accumulate voting power and contribute to discussions and future decisions concerning the organization’s development and governance.
The initiative aims to create a model where environmental knowledge becomes connected to participation, responsibility and collective action.
“This launch represents the result of three and a half years of intensive work and my commitment of time, resources and three decades of professional experience in textiles,” said Sae Chang, Founder and President of BE GREEN HEROES, Clean Recycling Initiative™ and HEAT-MX™.
Chang said the initiative was developed in response to sustainability decisions that he believes are sometimes influenced by oversimplified narratives rather than practical scientific understanding.
Focus on Practical Environmental Science
The initial educational content covers environmental science through practical explanations intended to connect scientific concepts with everyday products, consumer decisions and sustainability claims.
BGH plans to introduce additional educational content and participation opportunities as the platform develops.
The organization says its broader objective is to create a global community where people can improve their understanding of environmental issues and use that knowledge to participate in sustainability-related decisions.
“This is not passive learning. The more Green Heroes learn, the greater their ability to participate. The greater their participation, the stronger our collective ability to transform environmental education into meaningful action,” Chang said.
Special Launch Bonus for New Green Heroes
As part of the launch, new participants may receive a special signup bonus of five Green Hero Coins.
The initiative invites people worldwide to join the platform and participate in its approach to environmental education, rewards and community governance.
With the launch of LEARN and EARN, BE GREEN HEROES is positioning its Web3 platform as a community-driven approach that seeks to combine environmental knowledge, digital participation and collective action.
