Duggal Installs North America’s First EFI Reggiani NEXT Plus Textile Printer

Duggal Visual Solutions has become the first company in North America to install the EFI Reggiani NEXT Plus 8-colour textile printer, marking a significant advancement in industrial digital textile printing, sustainability and production efficiency.

Installed at Duggal’s New York production facility, the new system combines industrial-scale printing capabilities with advanced imaging technology and energy-efficient performance. The investment strengthens the company’s commitment to delivering premium-quality textile printing while supporting faster production timelines and sustainable manufacturing.

The EFI Reggiani NEXT Plus features an advanced 8-colour printing configuration, including light magenta and light black, enabling an expanded colour gamut with improved reproduction of vibrant shades, soft pastels and smooth gradients. The printer also delivers superior image quality through an industry-leading 4-picolitre drop size, ensuring sharper details and greater print precision.

In addition to enhanced print quality, the system has been designed to reduce energy consumption, helping manufacturers lower their environmental footprint while maintaining high-volume production capabilities.

Michael Duggal, CEO of Duggal Visual Solutions, said the investment reflects the company’s focus on innovation and sustainability.

“We are excited to offer our clients improved dye sublimation printing through both an expanded gamut and higher resolution while also reducing our environmental impact.”

Frank Pennisi, CEO of EFI, highlighted the strategic importance of the collaboration.

“We are thrilled to partner with an industry leader and visionary like Duggal. The EFI Reggiani NEXT Plus was designed to push the boundaries of what is possible in experiential print while supporting responsible manufacturing and next-generation visual communication.”

The installation further strengthens Duggal’s position in advanced textile and visual communication printing while showcasing EFI’s latest innovations in digital textile production technology. As demand continues to grow for high-quality, sustainable and fast-turnaround textile printing solutions, the partnership demonstrates how next-generation printing systems can help manufacturers meet evolving market expectations.
