Raymond Appoints Shalini Singh as Head of Corporate Communications

Raymond Group has appointed Shalini Singh as its Head of Corporate Communications, strengthening the company’s leadership team as it continues its transformation into a diversified conglomerate with independently listed businesses across lifestyle, real estate and engineering.

In her new role, Singh will lead the group’s corporate reputation strategy, overseeing external and internal communications, strategic communications, financial communications, social media strategy and crisis management.

The appointment comes at a significant stage for Raymond as it expands its business portfolio while enhancing stakeholder engagement and brand positioning across its diversified operations.

Singh brings nearly three decades of experience in corporate communications, brand strategy, reputation management and integrated communications. Before joining Raymond, she worked as an Independent Strategic Communications, Reputation and Sustainability Advisor for two years.

Earlier, she served as Group Head – Brand & Communications at RPG Group, where she led communication strategies for multiple listed companies. Her extensive career also includes leadership positions as Head – Corporate Communications & Sustainability at Holcim India (ACC & Ambuja Cements) and Chief – Corporate Communications, CSR & Sustainability at Tata Power & Renewables, where she spent more than 16 years.

She has also held communication roles at Accenture, Bharti Airtel, and The Arvind Mills, gaining broad experience across manufacturing, infrastructure, energy, telecommunications and consulting sectors.

Academically, Singh holds a Master’s degree in Communications & Extension from M.S. University, Baroda, where she graduated as a Gold Medalist. She has completed executive education programmes at IIM Ahmedabad and ISB Hyderabad, and is also a Certified Independent Director registered with the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA).

Her appointment reinforces Raymond’s focus on strengthening corporate reputation and strategic stakeholder communications as the group advances its next phase of growth.
