Plumbex India 2025: Catalyzing Urban Water Solutions
Held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, Plumbex India 2025 marked a major step forward in sustainable urban water management. Backed by the Ministry of Jal Shakti and AMRUT 2.0, the event saw key initiatives unveiled to combat India’s growing water crisis, which impacts nearly 40% of its population.

Organized by the Indian Plumbing Association (IPA), the event launched the IPA-JLL whitepaper on “Best Practices in Water Management,” showcasing real-world strategies like AI-based optimization, smart networks, and greywater reuse—leading to up to 40% efficiency gains and 30% cost savings. The document aligns with global benchmarks such as LEED and GRIHA.

A strategic MoU between IPA and CEEW (Council on Energy, Environment and Water) was also signed to promote wastewater reuse, water audits, and circular economy policies at the city level.

Addressing the audience, IPA President Shri Gurmit Singh Arora emphasized, “Water audits and reuse are no longer optional—they are critical for our future.”
The symposium, featuring key voices from the government, KPMG, and urban policy bodies, underscored urgent measures to curb urban water stress and integrate smart, scalable solutions.
