Shri Anil Rajbanshi has been appointed Vice-Chairman of MATEXIL (Man-Made and Technical Textiles Export Promotion Council), a premier body promoting exports of man-made fibre and technical textiles including yarns, fabrics, home textiles, and related products.
Currently serving as President of Reliance Industries Ltd. since 2004, Shri Rajbanshi brings decades of industry experience. Earlier, he worked with the Birla Group and has been actively involved with key textile committees of CII and FICCI. He is also a former member of the Textiles Committee.
“Man-made fibre textiles are the future, and I am excited to help advance this vital sector,” he said.
Welcoming him, MATEXIL Chairman Shri Shaleen Toshniwal remarked, “Shri Rajbanshi’s deep expertise and leadership will greatly enhance the Council’s efforts in promoting the man-made fibre textile industry.”
