RE&UP Achieves B Corp™ Certification, Reinforcing Commitment to Circular Textile Manufacturing

Eindhoven, Netherlands: RE&UP, a circular technology company transforming end-of-life textile waste into next-generation raw materials, has officially achieved Certified B Corporation™ (B Corp™) status. The certification recognizes the company’s commitment to high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and corporate accountability, strengthening its position as a leader in sustainable textile recycling.

The certification places RE&UP among a select group of manufacturing infrastructure providers verified by B Lab for meeting rigorous standards in responsible business practices. The milestone highlights the company’s focus on combining industrial-scale textile recycling with verified governance to support a more transparent and circular global textile value chain.

Ebru Özküçük Güler, Chief Sustainability Officer at RE&UP, said the certification reflects the company’s long-term commitment to responsible innovation.

“Today marks an important milestone for RE&UP as we become a Certified B Corporation™. This certification reflects our commitment to building an infrastructure where innovation, circularity, and operational responsibility operate in unison. It recognizes not only what we do—transforming textile waste into high-purity resources—but also how we do it: with transparency, accountability, and a long-term vision.”

The achievement comes at a time when sustainability and corporate responsibility are becoming increasingly important purchasing considerations. According to recent B Lab research, 90.7% of global consumers believe corporate directors should be accountable for environmental and social impacts, while 85% of consumers familiar with the B Corp™ certification say it influences their purchasing decisions, particularly among consumers under the age of 40.

RE&UP utilizes its proprietary textile-to-textile (T2T) recycling technology to convert post-consumer and post-industrial textile waste into Next-Gen Cotton fibers and Next-Gen Polyester chips. These materials are engineered to integrate into existing textile manufacturing processes, offering brands and manufacturers sustainable alternatives without compromising commercial scalability.

The company’s approach addresses one of the textile industry’s biggest challenges—creating high-quality recycled raw materials capable of replacing virgin fibers while supporting circular production models. By combining advanced recycling technology with verified governance standards, RE&UP aims to help accelerate the global transition toward a more sustainable and resource-efficient textile industry.

Backed by SANKO’s decades of textile manufacturing expertise, RE&UP continues to expand its circular ecosystem by transforming textile waste into high-quality raw materials designed for large-scale industrial applications. The B Corp™ certification further reinforces the company’s mission to drive transparency, innovation, and environmental responsibility across the global fashion and textile supply chain.
