TechnoSport, India’s largest activewear brand, has strengthened its nationwide supply chain with the launch of a 64,000 sq. ft. warehouse at Welspun One Logistics Park in Baglur, Bengaluru, significantly expanding its warehousing capabilities to support growing retail and direct-to-consumer (D2C) operations.
The new facility is part of the company’s long-term expansion strategy and will increase its controlled warehousing capacity by over 130%. TechnoSport also plans to add another 85,000 sq. ft. to the facility by the end of the year, taking its total controlled warehousing space to nearly 1.49 lakh sq. ft.
Supporting Omnichannel Growth
The Baglur warehouse complements TechnoSport’s existing 1 lakh sq. ft. finished goods warehouse in Tiruppur, creating a robust distribution network that supports retail partners, general trade, online marketplaces and the company’s own e-commerce platform.
Currently, the Bengaluru facility can store around 1.8 million products and process nearly one million pieces every month, with the capability to scale to two million pieces and infrastructure designed to handle up to three million pieces as demand grows.
Building a Future-Ready Supply Chain
Speaking on the launch, Puspen Maity, CEO of TechnoSport, said the investment represents a major milestone in building an integrated national supply chain.
He noted that the new warehouse strengthens the company’s ability to deliver products faster, maintain inventory availability and enhance customer experience across both retail and D2C channels while supporting TechnoSport’s long-term nationwide expansion.
Sachin Tandon, Chief Planning and Supply Chain Officer, said the facility has been designed to improve inventory management, accelerate replenishment cycles and enhance fulfilment capabilities as the company’s retail footprint continues to expand.
Technology-Driven Operations
The fully technology-enabled warehouse supports multiple supply chain functions, including:

- Order fulfilment
- Store replenishment
- Returns management
- Quality inspections
- Product repacking
For customers in Bengaluru, the facility enables next-day delivery for orders placed through TechnoSport’s official website.
Strategically located in Baglur, the warehouse strengthens the company’s access to southern India while serving as a distribution hub for Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and western India.
Employment Generation
The facility currently employs over 120 people, with women accounting for nearly 30% of the workforce. As operations expand, TechnoSport expects the warehouse to create more than 200 direct and indirect employment opportunities.
