Autocard SC8 Supports Flexible Pre-Spinning
Saurer will also present the Autocard SC8, developed to meet growing demands for flexibility in modern spinning mills.The carding machine features a 4.8-square-meter carding area, a 1.38-meter working width and a 1.46-meter cylinder diameter, enabling higher sliver quality, improved productivity and optimized energy efficiency.Its advanced design allows mills to process different raw materials and recycled fibers while maintaining consistent production quality and operational performance.
Zinser 51 Zpact FX Expands Production Flexibility
One of the major highlights at ITM 2026 will be the Zinser 51 Zpact FX, a modular compact spinning system designed for flexible yarn production.The system supports high-speed spinning, siro yarns and core yarn production while enabling mills to switch easily between compact and conventional spinning processes. Saurer will also showcase the Autocoro 11 with Duo Sliver Feeding technology, enabling direct blending of two slivers using dual opening rollers.The innovation allows manufacturers to produce cost-effective mélange yarns in smaller production batches with high reproducibility, offering greater responsiveness to fashion trends, customer demands and recycled material processing requirements.
