WTiN Circularity Week 2026 Focuses on Scaling Textile Circularity

World Textile Information Network (WTiN) has announced the official agenda for the second annual Textile & Apparel Circularity Week, which will be held virtually from 10–12 November 2026. Building on the success of its inaugural edition, the event will focus on helping the textile and apparel industry overcome the commercial, technical and regulatory challenges of scaling circular manufacturing systems.

Designed for textile manufacturers, spinners, apparel brands, retailers and technology providers, the three-day virtual conference will deliver practical insights into integrating circular economy solutions into existing production and supply chain operations.

From Circularity Concepts to Commercial Execution

Following strong industry participation in 2025, the 2026 edition shifts away from broad sustainability discussions to address real-world implementation challenges. The agenda has been developed to provide businesses with practical engineering, operational and financial strategies required to transition from pilot projects to commercially viable circular manufacturing.

The conference will explore how companies can integrate resource recovery systems while maintaining production efficiency, complying with evolving regulations and ensuring long-term profitability.

Three-Day Agenda Covers Key Industry Challenges

WTiN has structured the programme around three critical themes driving textile circularity.

Day 1: Materials and Design

The opening day will focus on overcoming technical barriers in textile recycling, including innovations in elastane separation, next-generation fibres and advances in material design for circularity. Sessions will feature insights from organisations such as Fashion for Good.

Day 2: Technology and Production

The second day will examine practical approaches to incorporating circular technologies into operational manufacturing facilities without causing costly production downtime. Discussions will centre on factory-floor integration, equipment upgrades and engineering solutions.

Day 3: Infrastructure, Compliance and Finance

The final day will address the regulatory and financial landscape shaping the industry’s transition to circularity. Topics include Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) frameworks, funding opportunities, compliance strategies and commercial models that support profitable circular manufacturing.

Industry Sponsors and Expert Speakers

The 2026 edition is supported by major industry partners, including Interloop, the event partner and a vertically integrated global textile manufacturer, and Ecomondo, Europe’s leading exhibition dedicated to green technologies and the circular economy.

The programme will feature technical presentations, case studies, expert panel discussions and a PechaKucha session involving specialists from organisations across the textile value chain, including the Sächsisches Textilforschungsinstitut (STFI), Fashion for Good, and drip by drip.

Focus on Practical Industry Solutions

Commenting on the event, Madelaine Thomas, Managing Director of WTiN, said the textile industry has moved beyond pilot projects and now requires practical solutions to achieve commercial-scale circularity.

She noted that businesses are looking for robust data, engineering expertise and sustainable financial models to address increasing regulatory requirements while integrating circular systems into everyday manufacturing operations.

Registration for Textile & Apparel Circularity Week 2026 is now open. WTiN Premium members will receive full access to the live event, post-event intelligence reports and detailed analyst summaries.
